Rapportlansering - Shallow returns? ESG risks and opportunities in aquaculture

August 13, 2019

Date: Tuesday 20 August 2019

Time: 12-13.30 (lunch provided)

Place: KLP, Dronning Eufiemias gate 10

About the event

Aquaculture is an incredibly important sector for the Norwegian economy, with a production value of nearly $8 billion in 2017.

The sector’s rapid growth has created significant opportunities for investors. As awareness of the link between global diets and sustainable development grows, we must think critically about aquaculture's environmental impacts - and how the sector needs to evolve to meet these challenges.

In collaboration with KLP and Norsif, FAIRR is delighted to invite you to a presentation on our new report, Shallow returns? ESG risks and opportunities in aquaculture, and a discussion on how global aquaculture companies are addressing these issues, based on early findings from the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index 2019.

We are delighted to welcome Krister Hoaas, Manager, Public Affairs, Lerøy Seafood Group to speak on how the company identifies and addresses its sustainability challenges.

Please register by sending an e-mail to faazi.adam@fairr.org

We look forward to seeing you.
