Welcome to an open webinar with NBIM, Arabesque, Norsif and Global Child Forum

23 June 2022 at 10.30-11.15 CET online
Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), Arabesque, Norsif and Global Child Forum hereby invite you to discover how children's rights can be incorporated into stewardship and investment strategies.
10 years ago, the Children's Rights and Business Principles (CRBPs) were launched. Global Child Forum identified an opportunity to use them as a broader instrument of change to positively impact children. Since 2013, alongside Boston Consulting Group, they have benchmarked thousands of companies using our methodology which was built on the CRBPs.
More recently, they have been helping investors incorporate the underlying data into stewardship and investment strategies.
Join us to hear:
Georg Kell, Chairman of Arabesque, on the development of the CRBPs, why they were founded and how they have progressed to become a tool for investors
Caroline Erikson, Head of Social Initiatives, NBIM, on how important children's rights is to their work and how they are using Global Child Forum data to incorporate children's rights into stewardship and investment strategies
Global Child Forum on the work we do and the data sets that we are sharing with the financial sector
About GCF and the event:
GCF was founded by the Swedish Royal Family in 2009
The forum works with businesses all over the global to improve the impact they have on children
Its core activity is publishing the largest benchmark on children's rights in business in the world, in cooperation with Boston Consulting Group
Since 2013 they have benchmarked over 3,500 companies
They have recently started sharing the underlying data with the financial sector and have a number of top asset managers and owners using the data
At the June event, asset managers and owners will discuss the benchmark data, how it was developed from the Children's Rights and Business Principles and how they are using it today
Welcome!
